1 bunch of cilantro
2 cloves of garlic
2 jalapenos (can take seeds out)
2 T Cider Vingear
2 T Water
1 cup Mayo
Throw it all (except the mayo) in the blender or food processor and shred it all to a pulp, then add to mayo. Its so yummy as an enchilada sauce. Recently, I tried using sour cream instead of mayo and I thought it was even better!

Wow, this sounds yummy! I will try this soon .. you have the bestest food recipes :)
I would add some dry ranch dip to it
i think the sour cream is much better but i used white vinegar the cidar vinegar gave it a sweet taste that threw it off over all though super deliciouse and very close to the real thing
A Gringos bartender told me the Amazon Sauce is sour cream based, but its a closely guarded recipe. This version is what I was looking for!
I am somewhat new to culinary (can't find a better word) things, but what do you mean by T on the water and vinegar? I made this before, but I forgot whether I used tablespoon or teaspoon.
That should be a T for Tablespoon
It is pretty close to what is served in the restaurant :)
Mayo is the base for this recipe! However, you can use sour cream. I agree with the comment about the cider vinegar; after having used it I had to add some lemon juice. I also use only a tiny amount of water. Another tip is to NOT use any water and store the then creamy product (using Helman's mayo) in the fridge. I will will last long time and you can just add some water (or sour cream) to thin it out as you need it. I use very little water in my dip. (most times none at all).
